I’ve been a little behind on my listening, but I’ve finally jumped back into the pile of CDs on my desk and I’m grabbing all the Alfa Matrix and Metropolis promos I’ve missed (although I may have missed the deadline on a couple from Metrop).
I have taken a listen to the SMP’s new CD, The Treatment, and I love it. I’ll have it in the mix soon, along with some kick ass SMP station IDs Jason made for GotBlack Radio. Thanks, Jason!

Artist profiles and track rankings

Track rankings are coming soon. I won’t get into any details, so you’ll just have to keep listening to GotBlack Radio and you’ll see them when they’re ready.
Artist profiles are up in their basest form. Most artists don’t have information in the database yet and I’m currently adding all this by hand. When I get an Admin interface ready, I’ll get some help with this. To see an example, go to http://radio.gotblack.com/artist/And+One/4 Certainly, it can be improved upon and even though I have things in mind already, feel free to comment here or email me with suggestions.

FireFox SideBar coming soon!

I’ve added some code to allow you to click a link and have the radio run in your FireFox sidebar (if you’re running FireFox, that is). The code is close to working but not quite there yet, so keep checking back for an update.

Implant sounds like chipmunks

I know the Implant tracks are playing way too fast. It’s kind of funny, but it’s ruining some good tracks you should hear. I’ve changed the bitrates in the database, so if they still sound like chipmunks, let me know so I can continue to investigate.

Updates are coming!

For several years, I’ve used my own system for updates. Lately, I have a lot to tell people about the changes I’m making to GotBlack.com and GotBlack Radio and I just need a faster and easier way to do it. So I went to WordPress because it’s the best.
When I get more important things done, I’ll update this theme to match the new site (it’s coming… I promise) and get everything linked in together.
I’m also going to need some blog-rolling. Anyone out there want to blog-roll?
